PICK ME UP bag is one of Ocean Recovery Alliance's x For A Cleaner Ocean initiatives that recycles the kitesurfer's old kites into small handy trash bags for all purposes. For the fun of it, we decided to re-purchase these bags from ORA and run a challenge. After the challenge, we will do a classic S.Africano BBQ, gather around and talk about the human stuff!
Challenge:
It's simple! The kiters use a PICK ME UP bag to pick up trash while kiting. Whoever picks the most trash at the end of the day are the winners! How? ---> Fast forward to 01:00
Date:
The challenge will take place on one windy Saturday. We will pick the most promising day between mid-January - May. It will be announced via WhatsApp groups and social media the same week on Thursday.
Format & Rules:
- Each challenger or group will assign a large trash bag for the final weight count.
- Kiters can start from 10:00 - 16:00. Do as many drop-off rounds as you wish.
- (recommended) Team up with one other non-kiter to pick up trash on the beach. All trash counts.
- Pre-registration is required.
- In the event of not being able to attend after registration. Your fund will use to support the effort and Ocean Recovery Alliance.
Registration:
- HK$400. Include a PICK ME UP Bag, a BBQ & Drinks, and a chance to win a prize.
- $250 goes to ORA, $150 for the BBQ.

This activity will be documented and photographed. If you participate in the event, you may appear in any and all media now known worldwide, in perpetuity, including in advertisements and promotions. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the organiser otherwise.
